George, I think what you say makes much more sense Thanks...
I'll experiment later and hopefully get it to work and it could help in that's it's a free program and the one I have been using is not as good as it once was.
Audacity does seem pretty good. And popular.
I'm pretty impressed with all it's capable of as a WAV recorder so if I can get a decent mp3 out of it, that would be fantastic. Gildy
