I feel that they're better off being honest up front and telling you exactly how much the flight will cost, even if it is £70. I know that £70 for a flight is cheap anyway, so why try and con us with a ridiculous price? I would be far less inclined to use an airline/travel agent who did that to me in the future. Just repeat to yourself " There's no such thing as a free lunch"
The bargains which we have had in the past have been £10 each way rail fares from Darlington to London King's Cross, and that included reserved seating as well. All we had to do was book them well in advance. Same ticket on the day was £220 with no guaranteed seat!!!
