Still feel ripped-off by travel and holiday sites?

Morning everyone...
Just wondering whether you think holiday and travel sites are still being misleading when it comes to fully delcaring how much things cost? The EU has slammed online travel sites for hiding the full cost of flights, making it difficult to know exactly how much a flight will cost once you add taxes and extra charges.
Have you had any bad experiences when the cost of a flight has suddenly doubled when you reach the checkout page? Which sites are transparent about pricing and which clobber you with hidden charges?
