Dual Booting

I don't know whether this is the right place for this query, but here goes anyway.
I have made my computer a dual boot machine with Windows XP Pro and Ubuntu. I did this by installing an old hard disc as a slave. I deleted everything on the old disc and then installed Ubuntu on it.
When I switch the machine on, it defaults to Ubuntu unless Windows is specified. Is there any way of making it default to Windows because it is causing a problem in that people who switch the machine on and then go away come back and find that Ubuntu rather than Windows is awaiting them?
I have had a look at the boot.ini file thinking that this could be edited somewhere but everything seems to refer to Windows. This is the file:
[boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
If any one could help it would save a domestic disaster.
