The scan from the crucial site told me the size / type (DDR) / combinations and max size but the one thing it didnt indicate, which is what started to confuse me when I started surfing to compare prices, was the pin No - 68, 72, 124 etc
I'm intending throwing a 1Gb into the spare slot which will take it to 1256
The Recovery Console is already installed - just as well as all instructions relating to it talk about inserting the cd - I haven't got a cd for either of my pc's, they both came pre-installed
You've got me worried / confused now:
Quote - " I always use "About:Blank""
I thought about blank was a hijacker page? - I take it you use a blank homepage
Anyway - apart from installing some extra ram the kids pc seems ok now thank you.
Now back to the other sodding one (mine) that's driving me nuts
