With the introduction of AVG 8 Free and to avoid conflicts you will shortly need to make some changes in the above.

First download AVG 8 Free to your Desktop but do not install it yet. As this programme includes everything except a firewall the following should be uninstalled first:

AVG Antivirus
Spybot S&D
Super AntiSpyware
SpywareBlaster
SpywareGuard
Threatfire


By the way the Comodo firewall's defence+ does the same or a similar job as Threatfire. However my own view is that Defence + should be turned off as well when running alongside AVG 8 Free.

There is an article here about securing your Wifi but I'm sure you've already taken all necessary precautions in that regard.
