Webuser Forums: PicLens search bar added to Piclens

The brilliant 3D image viewer, Piclens has added a PicLens search bar.

For those of you who already have Piclens installed, check to see if you have the latest version - at present v.1.6.3. Firefox users just click Tools, Addons , Find Updates.

I would also recommend you update your Adobe Flash which Piclens uses

Access Piclens in the normal way by searching on Google Images and clicking the blue arrow.

Then from the Piclens screen click the Search Bar at the top.

Click DeviantArt.

Type in a place you love in the world
Click the bottom left hand button for full screen mode
and sit back and enjoy fantastic photos.

Now choose Youtube and search for your favourite band.

This time Piclens shows videos in the 3D display and puts the artist and title underneath each window.

I will write to Piclens with a couple of suggestions though.

Firstly, you can't navigate away from the page without the youtube video stopping.
Secondly, I would have kept the original Google search term in the Piclens search bar.
