I am a newbie in here so don't know if this topic has been spoken about already. I am with Virgin Media Broadband 20mb. Lately they have started downgrading you if you have downloaded 4/5 gb. So if you were to download a movie which is that size you get downgraded to 3/4mb. Anybody else having the same problem.
I contacted them and they say you get put down to the lower download speed for 5 or 6 hours when you have downloaded that much. Just think its a bit much when you are paying for 20mb.

Hi pal, some advice just ditch virgin media, go for a better ISP. virgin media will always cap you. They should understand you are on a 20mb connection and you can download 5 gig in a couple of hrs for fun. 5 gig is just a joke of a limit on a 20mb connection but they don't understand, all they want is your hard earned money for a rubbish service. so just move on pal.
