Unable to remove partition or format
      Sun Apr 27 2008 08:58 PM

Hi everybody,

Please see if you can help me:

I have an Athlon 64 PC which had 2 partitions that C: & D:
Previously it had XP_Home installed in C. I wanted to upgrade with
XP_Pro. It loaded automatically in D without giving any option to chose
by deleting all datas in D drive.

When I restarted the PC it came dual OS which I did not like.
I tried to format C drive after taking ages when it reached 100%
it will say unable to format.
Then I did the stupid thing: I deleted all the contents in C drive.
But some of the files are still there. I am unable to get rid of
dual option.

Spent not hours but days breaking my head! Even friend of mine
took and tried:
Delete
Remove
FDiks
Format
DiskPart
etc. but nothing worked

Is there a way? May be a little program to overrun these XP commands.

I will appreciate any help to remove this pain.

Thank you in advance.

Every little helps and a little help goes a long way!
