Thanks for the reply BedstorfromAP. With the borrowed PSU I can boot into Vista and I was able to download the latest updates for Vista. I think I really need to try the new PSU with a motherboard that has the extra P4 (12 volt) connection to confirm it is faulty. Maybe my motherboard is very picky about what type of PSU it uses
