I bought an HP 3110 All-in-One about 18 months ago and it has served my purposes well apart from 2 things:
1. I'm never sure if I made the right decsion going for 6 separate colours instead of black plus multi colour - it still costs a fortune in ink
2. The black ink started to miss bits of the paper a few months ago, to the point that now, it barely prints anything. I've gone through all the trouble-shooting and, although it's outside its guaranteee, I intend to take it up with the supplier.
Questions: 1. Any tips on what might be wrong with the black ink? 2. Recommneded replacement printer? 3. Go for all separate colours or 1 black / 1 colour?
