Command prompt alert
      Mon Mar 31 2008 02:44 PM

Just ran chkdsk. Says I have problems and recommended running chkdsk /F to cure them. I did this (worked on reboot) but rerunning chkdsk still shows the same warning. Prior to this I had run disk cleanup which said I needed to replace certain files, otherwise Windows might not run smoothly. It recommended installing my XP OS disk, but my laptop didn't come with one. My system is fine, apart from a few slow, "blocky" image loading problems, like when I click on system restore. It all works though.

Using: Dell Inspiron 9300 (1GB RAM, 80GB HDD (70% free), 1.86 Mhz), AVG antivirus, Comodo firewall, Spybot, Glary Utilities, SuperAntispyware, Adaware 2007, Malwarebytes Anti-malware, CCleaner, Revo Uninstaller, Firefox 3,b4 (all free). Ashampoo Winoptimizer 5, Registry Mechanic.
