HI,New to this forum.
I am hopping you are going to be able to help me. The Hijacker.internet virus or what ever it is infected my laptop. Which in turn infected both my PC's. I could not get onto the internet.
I got someone from the yellow pages to have a look. He managed to get the two pc's up and running.But not the laptop. He took it away and reformatted the disk.
When it came back every thing was working. But I could not get on to Netgear's portal to change my password.
A week or so down the line, I up dated all my virus and malware programs and ran them all on the main pc. A clean bill of health. Two days later no internet again. I ran Noadware ( which is on all of the pc's and laptop)and there it is again, Hijacker.internetKKey.
I have just reset the router again to factory defaults. Still not able to log onto my portal using the default admin, password. I am tearing my hair out to sort this problem out for good.
I need the thing removing for good and to stop it reappearing.
All pc's and laptop have Windows XP and service pack 2.
All have Noadware
All have Avg anti virus free edition
The two pc's have comodo firwall, laptop has zone alarm
The pc's have spyware terminator and spyware blaster
