I have heard about portable application which can be carried on a USB pen drive and can be run from any PC. I have a couple of these which are in zip folders but how will these work ? lets say a portable application of GIMP image editor : will i have to unzip all the files of that application on the computer i will be using ? & then when i have finished using the portable program, should i delete the unzipped files ?
