Internet Explorer reverts back to dial up
      Wed Mar 26 2008 10:37 AM

Hi,
I've recently switched back to broadband from dial up and seem to have a slight problem.

I don't use the wireless option as the modem is within range of the cable to my PC but sometimes when I disconnect the wireless network, the 'world' on the bottom right stays on but Internet Explorer says connection is lost and 'work offline' is always clicked. The system then begins to use the dial-up connection.

Is there anyway to make the system realise the broadband connection is always available?

WINDOWS VISTA. SKY BROADBAND.

(I'm not very computer literate so bare with me but can do most tasks)

Thanks for your time
Gareth

(I have just spotted a similar post to this and have followed instructions on that, so-far so-good so my apologies to clogging up the board. Although my connection has not been lost yet, please leave this post so that I can add if it becomes neccesary. I'll give it today see how it goes...)
