Help! Log on problems with laptop
      Sun Mar 23 2008 01:33 PM

Hi,

need a little help please.

Friend has a laptop and we've deleted a load of "rubbish" from it before she sells it.

However.... Now when we switch the laptop on it asks for a password - we know the password but it either doesnt recognise it or the user?

Its the box that first comes up when you switch the computer on.

I thought if i started it in safe mode it'd bypass that but nah! Failed.

Its an old laptop toshiba s1710 and running windows 2000 professional.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Daren
