Methinks you have been tinkering.

The Netgear WG111 wireless adapter can use the Netgear software or Windows software. I suspect you have installed the Netgear software and want to use it. If so do this:

Go to Administration Tools > Services > Wireless Zero Configuration then if Stop is there, click it and then change Startup to Disabled.
