Yes i tried the storage device on another pc and it worked straight away. I have a camera and camcorder that have worked fine for 2 years in all 6 usb ports that i have and they are still working ok . The new devices have only been bought in the last 3 months I have also tried them in all ports. The only difference is I used to have BT broadband and I now have Sky broadband. I unplugged the ethernet cable from the sky router but it didnt make any difference. Thanks for replying. lkb
