redten free pc now becoming NLP

I have just received a letter from NLP saying my broadband is being transferred from redten over to NLP. Anyone know anything about this?

I was going to ask for a cancellation cost as I'm a year into the 3 year contract but don't use the broadband (I want to keep the PC) - will this still be possible?

Any advice appreciated.
