I'm not sure whether or not you should be worried. Do you get the broken padlock before or after you actually log in? If after, then it would be worrying. A bank has no business having insecure items on the pages of your account. I would make a strong complaint to them about this, it's your money that could be at risk after all!
The only time I've ever seen a broken padlock is sometimes on the Mozilla Add-ons site and that's only on the opening page.
