More Broadband help
      Fri Feb 29 2008 04:38 PM

I've recently moved into a house and had BT broadband activated and am currently using a BT wireless router. There is an master socket upstairs with a fairly old extension lead leading to downstairs. We can get phone reception no probs downstairs but no broadband when I plug the ASDL lead from the router to the downstairs extension...so I moved the router upstairs into the master socket and works no problem. Tried other set-ups but can only get broadband from the master socket. The BT help line suggested that the extension lead was faulty. Has anyone got any advice please?
