Removing vista for XP 64bit on Notebook HP6510b ??

Hi all
i just bought the hp 6510b notebook i have remove vista to install xp64bit but it can't recognize the HDD (its a SATA)i have check on hp website but i can just install normal XP. Anyone can help.
