A couple of small problems...

Hi everyone, I've recently discovered two small issues that I am unable to correct despite my best efforts.
If I try to visit www.purepwnage.com in firefox it spends ages loading and then tells me that the 'connection was reset.' I know the site works because I can access it from other computers but I can't get on it from home!
I also tried to get onto this website in IE and then I discovered that, whatever I type into the IE's address bar, when I hit enter it brings up the page in firefox. I can't see any options that I might have selected that would cause this behaviour. Any ideas on either of these problems? I'm using firefox 2.0.0.12 by the way, and IE 7 on Windows XP Pro. with SP2.
