I recently bought a Freeview DVD/HDD recorder, and was amazed to discover that it records in .CDA format. That is the same as commercial music CD's. PowerDVD will play the recorded video, but I have nothing that can convert it to a proper video format, not even SUPER, as everything recognizes the content as audio. Can anyone suggest how I can get round this problem please? I have camcorder footage that I really want to keep, but I cannot plug the thing into the PC as it is too old for the correct connections.
