I have a problem that wouldn't seem unusual - but as yet no one has come up with any real solution. I use rewritable cd-rw discs for data storage. There is data on my disc at the moment(about a quarter of a disc is used up - so plenty of room to add or make changes) - however, Nero shows the disc as blank, BUT when I go to add data on the disc it is saying the disc has data on it and it has to be erased first and will not allow any more data to be added. How mad is that? This means I have to erase and burn a rewritable disc from scratch everytime I want to make tiny data amendments. I even tried a dvd-rw, but it's just the same. This is really odd, as it was OK until about a week ago, nothing has been installed or uninstalled that could have corrupted the prog. I've even done a thorough removal of Nero and a clean install to see if it might make any difference, but it hasn't. I've tried opening and closing the burner drawer - no change. This happened to me in Nero 7 and has continued in Nero 8. **I think I should mention that it does burn music perfectly without a problem.
Anyone else experienced or experiencing the same? Is there a solution that I am overlooking perhaps?
