Bought a laptop, Vista home basic, installed my PSCS2 (that works perfectly under xp on my desktop pc) It was working Ok had a few extra plugins installed as well that I had on PC, no trouble, but whenever I clicked on the help function it kept giving me an error about help not being found. I then decided to uninstall it and reinstall but still no help but then when I tried to use a plugin the program freezes, screen goes whitish and then it closes. I uninstalled program again using the option of complete uninstall but when rebooted and reinstalled, my preferences were still showing so I believe it still leaves settings in the registry??? Any help? I can use the program albeit slow but cannot use the plugins which I need to use periodicaly. Do you think a registry clean would help? If so can you recommend a good one. Thanks. I have tried checking the use windows xp and also open as admin in the preferences but still freezes and goes whitish then closes.
