An update.

My Sky connection is working wonderfully well, no problems at all...so much faster, staying connected ALWAYS and all for a fiver a month! I have bought my new laptop and the wireless connection was made in a couple of moments.
The problem I had with the sound on my desk top PC was of my own making, I discovered. When I reconnected the wiring after inserting the ethernet card, I happened to place the sound wire into the headphone socket!!...DOH!!..I know, stupid of me, but I discovered this on checking the back of the tower. Now everything is running so smoothly, I can't believe it!

Wondering how Tony G. is getting on with his Sky. Waiting for his update too.
