thanks for your reply, in answer to your question... i wish that was the case, i left it running all night but it stopped at 51% so i started over, i wiped the old installation to start a fresh one, i formatted a partition that was ok, the copying files is where it seems to hang i done exsactly the same on my laptop with no problems so i dont understand where ive gone wrong, do you think theres a possibility it could be corrupted in some way, there was no virusus or bugs on before i wiped it
