I am hoping someone can help me.....I am fairly compatable with computers and have usually been able to troubleshoot on my own but.....I am completely stumped and frustrated right now!!!!
I am pretty sure I have some unwanted pop up ad or trojan-ware. I am getting an imposter "windows" window ""System error! - Your computer was infected by unknown trojan. It's dangerous for your system (critical files can be lost)! Click OK to download the antispyware program to clean your system! (Recommended)
I ran avg antispyware and avg7.5 free which both detected and healed a few infections. The PROBLEM I am having is I am unable to restore my computer to any date (I have tried about 20 different ones) and have even started in safe mode then restarted from there. Right now I am copying all my personal photos from the computer to CD preparing for the worst. Can anyone help me fix this??? thanks! Tonya
