Hope you dont mind me butting in. I have one of these cheap and cheerful web cams on this machine and it loaded OK for me and works perfectly. On my programs it shows up as PC Camera@! and on the desktop as AMCAP. Just a thought but the software that came with it may be faulty. Why not take it back to Tescos and ask for a replacement.
