Mysterious re-boots
      Thu Jan 10 2008 12:39 PM

Hi,

Mine is a simlar problem to Dean who is also posting today.
I have a new computer, customer built by a friend whose been buliding systems for years.
I've had this machine a month and until yesterday everything was fine. Now though, whenever I try and load a game, or DVD the screen goes black. No Signal appears on my monitor and my machine reboots. After that a dialog box appears saying The System Has Recovered From A Serious Error.
The same things happens when I load games which have are instaled with a no disc patch.
Until yesterday though everything was fine an all games/dvds ran smoothly.
My rig is: ASUS rock motherboard, FSB:1333, Dual core pentium 2.66gz, Asus Geforce 8600GT, 2gb twin ex ram. ASUS DRW-1814BL Multi DVD rewriter with light scribe. ASUS 19" vb191 LCD Monitor and i'm running windows xp home edition service pack two.
What should I do?

Thanks a lot,

Neill
