I am having problems with the start up in XP where I am prompted to put in a password on a user account to continue to load up. I saw a post in this section of some one who had the same problem. I followed the insructions of going into Start, Run, and typing in control userpasswords2 and Removed the tick next to 'users must enter a username and password'. Now I cannot even start up the computer, it is still asking me for a password for the administator and will not except any attempt to continue. Is there anying I can do to get round this and also get rid of the user account/ password for good?
