Thanx Guys but i found a solution to my *update* issue in case anyone else has the issue of repairing XP and it wont allow you to do updates try this type start /run/cmd in the box type regsvr32 wups2.dll press enter then type exit box closes and all should be well updates will then install thanx anyway guys, just thought i would share that in case anyones having to scratch their heads
