i have a desktop and a laptop.the desktop is connected to a netgear dg834gt wireless router and the laptop connects to this via wireless.i want to be able to access music and pictures from the desktop onto the laptop.i have tried to set up sharing on both computers but still have no success. on the laptop if i click on start then my network places the netgear router shows up. if i then click on view workgroup computers then i get the message (computer name) is not accessible.you might not have permission to use this network resource.please contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.the network path was not found. i also get the same message if i try to do it through the desktop as well.
i also cannot get the printer which is connected to the desktop to share with the laptop either.
