Re: Asus P5N-E SLI + 8800GT + Thermaltake Tsunami

I too have got Crysis and an 8600GT card and Ok I haven't played it yet but The best advice is turn down the Graphics ,Use a lower resolution if need be ? then It'll run sweeter...
I had a problem like yours with the latest Command and Conquer game (and an Older GeForce card default Graphic setting crashed the game so I took several graphics settings down (trial and error) and It ran without Jagging or stalling)
Turning the colour palette to 16 from 32 and resolution of 1760x 768 is a good starting point
And You'll hardly notice the Difference High resolution graphics Make Text much harder to see
You want to be able to read that and save your eyesight Yes?
Try this before forking out for any new Card/s
BTW I do have the 2x card setup and SLI connector on Mine SO If you are going too Lay out some cash then Fill the other Graphics slot with another 8600GT card (Nothing Else!!)Fitting is easy
Just remember to Switch the Power off but you can leave it Plugged in to act as a static strap...Usually a big Picture guide in the Box to show how to do it

All you'll need is a crosshead /pozidrive screwdriver and 1 case screw to secure the New card (to the back panel)

Blow any dust off the Main board befor you start
Should take you 5 minutes to Complete

Only set up thing to check is Run the Graphics setups Program and See if the SLI link is turned on? Otherwise you may be running on 1 card the other is a
Dummy
Top Tip DO NOT use the Drivers that came with the Card Instead Use the Forceware Generic Drivers These are updated with Bug Fixes Monthly
Who Knows Crysisi Might have been patched already?? Overwrites the old driver (and no reset needed!)
