Sky used to supply the Netgear router. If they still do, you need to type 192.168.0.1 into a browser window to access the router settings, then use ‘admin’ and ‘sky’ for the default user name and password.
In the left pane click on ’wireless settings’ or similar wording. You will now be able to change your SSID and WEP/WPA key to make it more secure.
To make the wireless connection more reliable, try changing the allocated Channel Number.
