Lap top won't boot up on battery.
      Sat Dec 22 2007 11:27 AM

Hi my e-machine laptop won't boot up whilst on battery. A grey screen comes up. If I plug ac back in and reboot it starts fine I can then remove the ac adapter and it works okay. I went to `power options` in control panel and tweeked here and there then I saved the info when I applied it I keep geting the message "two revision levels are incompatable." I tried the phone number on the bottom of the laptop They said sorry we dont have a contract with Asda. Tried another number they gave me and got a similar rebuff, they were about to give me a premium number at £1.50 a minute when I told them where to go . The machine is less than a year old and I lfeel its got something to do with the time settings . Can anyone asssist me please? regards
