allowing anoher user to coonnect to my broadband
      Fri Dec 14 2007 10:11 AM

Hi all. Help! please.

This probably seems like a daft question, but i just don't know.

I've got a friend staying with me over Christmas, and he needs to
do some work for which he needs to connect his laptop to the net.

I have sky broadband using an ethernet hard wire connection.

If my friend wants to connect using my router, is it simply a case
of plugging the ethernet cable into his laptop, or is that just
wishful thinking on my part!!?

Many thanks,

Bert.
