Virgin DNS Problem
      Fri Dec 07 2007 04:40 PM

I have recently changed my ISP from tiscali to virgin. I have a Netgear DG834G router (which seems to be working fine)and Windows vista Home premium but when I browse the internet on some web sites, I keep getting ' Internet explorer cannot display page error' I click to diagnose connection problems and Windows Vista tells me that it's a dns error. sometimes I refresh the page and it finds it but not always. I discovered OpenDns so I changed my router settings to use their DNS Servers,(which worked wonderfully for browsing the internet no problems at all) but then I found that I could no longer get to my router settings page..it kept redirecting me to the netgear home page, I had to reset my router and re-enter all my settings. Virgin's dns servers are driving me nuts. Is there any way I can keep OpenDNS but still be able to acess my router settings??? Or am I having dns problems because I haven't set something up right????
