Explorer sites which should be green are mauve!
      Wed Dec 05 2007 04:41 PM

I have a new laptop and although green is not missing from the normal Vista screen, when I access sites in Explorer they are a strange colour.
I think photos show in their right colours but background to text boxes and back
ground colours to pages are wrong for example - a site I know has sand coloured background is pinky brown, a pale green background is mauve, bright green is dark. The colours are completly different when viewed on my desk top.
If it was an old fashioned tv I'd say the green tube was wonky as the red is too strong
Is the display faulty? Is there a setting I need to adjust? - I could do this on my desktop, but don't understand how to do it in Vista on the laptop (especially after looking at "Colour Management"!).
I'm mystified - any ideas?
