Hi everybody, I'm new to the board and would be grateful for some advice re screen resolution. I bought a 19" Philips lcd tv/monitor recently and am unable to set the resolution. The screen is unreadable apart from when I boot up when all's sharp.
The book tells me that the resolution should be set to 1024 x 768 @60Hz. Clicking on control panel/display/adapter gives a list of resolutions but this particular one is not on the list.
I've tried the driver disc but am unable to read the screen to proceed.
The graphics card is a Radeon 9550 if this is any help and the pc is an Advent (about 3 years old).
