Hi Quahappy,
Do you have McAfee Site Advisor installed? It's compatible with both IE7 and Firefox and will alert you to spyware and virus-infected websites, phishing scams, and dodgy search results.
Although it can occasionally be over-zealous, it does prove effective at preventing unsuspecting surfers stumbling across potentially dangerous sites.
