It's almost guaranteed that the type of card needed will be PCI style.
You say there are two slots but I'm not sure whether you have opened up the computer and checked this. Usually, you can check if theres room on the motherboard by sliding off the side panel (you may have to do some unscrewing and/or break a warranty sticker, so this is at your own risk) and looking inside. You should see some cards in the board, and if theres room for more you'll see what is usually a white coloured slot to place an additional card in.
You are looking for this, really:

If you see one or more slots you are good to go out and buy a card to fit. All that I have come across are "PCI" but be sure to check anyway. When you have your card, it is simply a matter of breaking out/unscrewing the back plate (where the card will show its USB ports outside of the case), inserting the card into the slot and securing it with screws or clips, whichever your case uses.
