I know the music would still be on the pc I just didnt know if iPods worked in the same way mp3s do but you saying its unlikely it will fail has made me fell a lot better thanks!

The reason I want to delete the music off my pc is because I want to store my entire music collection on my iPod but not my pc reason being there are tracks I might fancy listening to once in a while when im out and about but not on my pc.
