ADVICE PLEASE

I am about to start to try and create a web site
In order to get a quick result, I am thinking of using one of the free programmes with templates etc, and then gradually try to learn and use Frontpage and or Dreamweaver.
QUESTION:
If I create an initial site in the way mentioned above, will I be able to incorporate it in a site created with the use of Frontpage and/or Dreamweaver?
