Thanks again... Having created a restore point and attempting to delete the programs in Add and remove.
Then installing the Windows Install clean up, I removed all windows Installer applications for the NET Framework.
I attempted a re boot and the computer closed down and refused to come on again. That's why I disappeared.
I tried the fuse and the switch on the case...no joy.
After an hour I tried(don't know why)and as you can see we're in business again. I've looked in the add and remove area and they are still sitting there but neither have any value next to them now and they cannot be deleted.
So though I am ready to download the programs again in the order you say that I should...do I do this whilst they are still saying that they are on the pc? Should they be totally deleted before attempting to get them again or does that not matter? In theory will they download over the top of these?
