Thanks again ! I think I want to stay with XP because a photo-chum is having serious difficulties with Vista and PhotoShop. I may renege on the whole project because one of my IT savvy sons says "Why not simpply buy a high spec 'ready made' even if there are things n it you won't use? It would be much cheaper"
