Hi, depending on the status of your phone line, an AOL Silver connection will provide speeds of up to 2mbps. I have been with them a long while now, and have been promised an upgrade to the 2Mbps in the autumn, currently I have 1Mbps. Your speed seems low - have you downloaded a lot, and therefore exceeded their 'fair usage' policy? You can test you speed here amongst other places.
