Thanks for replying. I don't think it's a problem with converting files so much as magix seems to be able to convert most files into mp3s or whatever. The problem he is having is recording his mixes at high quality. When he plays back what he has recorded it is very quite but he can't adjust the recording levels to allow him to record it any louder. (Does that sentence actually make sense?!). But thanks anyway!
