Hi, I've recently moved into a new flat, and have ordered line rental and broadband off of madasafish. I have received confirmation that my line is now active (for talk). However on trying to use the line it appears dead, there is no ringtone. If I attempt to ring the line from another phone, the phone sounds like its ringing (although it isn't) I removed the front of the socket (it's one of the new jobbies with the removeable bottom plate)at first I thought it wasn't wired up correctly as there where only 2 wires connected out of the bunch, however after having a look around on the net, this appears to be correct.
Basically, to cut a long story short! If there are only two wires connected in the screw terminals, is this socket connected properly?
